HELLO AND WELCOME TO MONEY MOBILIZER!
I’m excited to have you here as part of the Money Mobilizer community.
My name is David and I am a full-time practicing physical therapist. My wife is a full-time practicing occupational therapist and we have many close friends and family who work in allied health professions.
I graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California (Fight On!), completed a physical therapy residency, and subsequently obtained an APTA neurologic clinical specialist board certification. Throughout my career, I have gained practice experience in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient acute care, home health, acute rehabilitation, and teaching assistant experience at the DPT level.
Along the way, I learned lessons about personal finance the hard way – by living through making important decisions without any financial resource specific to our professions readily available.
That is why I created Money Mobilizer for you.
Unfortunately, while working hard to learn the knowledge needed to work in our professions, we are not educated on how to lead financially healthy lives.
My mission with Money Mobilizer is to create a personal finance blog that provides relevant information specific to the financial needs of our professions.
More specifically, Money Mobilizer will provide insight on
Working in health care is not for everyone – it takes a special kind of person to dedicate an entire career towards improving the livelihood of others. At the same time, though, you should still be able to expect a certain level of financial stability after your many years of education – and this can be achieved.
